The above beauty is known as the Axera 7 underground Drilling Rig. This was my first full project at Thoroughtec and i was responsible for the simulation model behind the drilling pressures. This is considered the most complicated and realistic underground drilling simulator at the time of it's creation, only to be succeeded by Thoroughtec's next drilling simulator, the RocketBoomer 282.

This is known as a Tractor, Loader, Backhoe, and was my last major project before leaving South Africa. What is being shown is a pipe laying exercise. I was responsible for the dynamics behind the rear boom system and it's interaction with the large simulated concrete pipes.
